About The Position

This role will be hybrid (working 3 days per week in office at either our Cincinnati, OH or Denver, CO locations). As a Financial Analyst Specialist, you’ll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization and lead financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering with Global Payments for Platforms. Working with a diverse team, you’ll be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
7+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data management within the payments industry.
Revenue accounting experience
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of GAAP accounting.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement forecasting models to predict financial performance.
Own forecasting process from end-to-end.
Establish processes and governance structures.
Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.
Track revenue and expenses monthly, comparing actual to forecasted figures, and making necessary adjustments.
Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular financial reports to keep leadership informed about key metrics and financial health.
Analysis to support KPIs & OKRs for leadership.
Leverage advanced analytics to enhance performance reporting and support data-driven decision-making.
Provide valuable insights into performance metrics, helping prioritize and track progress against overall targets.
Assess existing tools and identify new ones to streamline processes, increase productivity, and reduce manual effort.
Ensure tools integrate seamlessly into the overall process.
Coordinate efforts to align with long-range planning (LRP) and annual planning cycles.
Ensure activities fit into the overall objectives of the organization.
