About The Position

This role involves leading advanced financial analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives, capital planning, and organizational goals. The Financial Analyst Senior will develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for cash forecasting, capital planning, treasury management, and scenario analysis. Responsibilities include conducting benchmarking, KPI analysis, and variance reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. The position also oversees budgeting processes, cost accounting, and productivity standards, providing recommendations for process improvements. A key aspect of the role is applying government reimbursement rules (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid) and ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. The role may lead or coordinate complex financial projects, research and document technical accounting issues, and serve as a resource for interpreting new accounting standards and regulatory changes. Additionally, the Financial Analyst Senior will mentor accounting staff, provide financial systems training, support professional development, present complex financial information to senior leadership, and collaborate cross-functionally. Driving process improvements and implementing best practices in financial analysis, reporting, and systems utilization are also core functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting, with demonstrated leadership or project management experience.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s/CPA preferred
  • CPA, CMA, or CFP preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred
