About The Position

The Opportunity: Do you hear project ideas and immediately start breaking down the costs asso cia ted with making that project a reality? When it comes to considering the costs of building and maintaining systems, there is more to it than parts and labor. That’s why we need you, a finan cia l analyst who can turn requirements into a complete finan cia l understanding for our senior management and leadership team. As a project control, finance, and cost analyst on our team, you’ll translate requirements into cost through data collection, model building, and cost vs. risk analysis. Our projects require sophisticated analysis to produce recommendations that impact how our complex portfolio of contract types navigate throughout each project’s life cycle. We extract data through disc us sions with our teams, and along with other analysts, develop a variety of analytical skills in normalizing data, performing statistical regression, us ing learning curve analysis, and other data science te chn iques. You will be responsible for a wide variety of detailed finan cia l and administrative activities and prepare budget analysis. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with working in a b us iness or finan cia l management environment
  • Experience in working with federal government contracts
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, federal budget process, and funds management
  • Ability to c ond uct trend analysis
  • Ability to accomplish finan cia l forecasts based on bottom-up analysis and historical trends
  • Ability to identify and communicate finan cia l risk
  • Ability to present finan cia l reports to senior leadership and contract program managers
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in working with Deltek CostPoint
  • Experience with supporting Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) contracts
  • Experience with Micro sof t Excel, including us ing formulas and functions in calculations and analysis
  • Possession of excellent leadership skills
  • Possession of excellent critical thi nk ing, analytical thi nk ing, and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
