About The Position

We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst - Senior to join our team specializing in Finance in Columbus, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Deliver decision-ready insights: Produce clear, accurate financial analyses and reports that help leadership make timely, informed business decisions. Strengthen financial planning & forecasting: Partner with teams to build realistic budgets, staffing plans, and forecasts that align spend with business priorities. Improve visibility into performance: Consolidate and interpret financial data, highlighting key trends, variances, and cost drivers to guide action. Drive accountability through variance analysis: Explain gaps between actuals and plan, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. Enhance cost efficiency: Identify opportunities to optimize spend and improve financial performance across the organization. Support strategic initiatives: Deliver special studies and analyses that inform investment decisions, resource allocation, and long-term planning. Develop team capability: Coach and guide junior analysts, raising the overall quality, consistency, and impact of financial outputs. Build strong business partnerships: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating financial data into actionable insights that support operational success.

Requirements

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
  • Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
  • Strong business partnership and communication to drive thoughtful inventory decisions, accurate forecasting, and product costing.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor individuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.

  • Responsible for preparing flash results, forecasts, and AOP as it pertains to product cost and inventory.
  • Strong partnership with Materials and Quality teams to ensure optimal buy-plans, engage in and support supplier recoveries.
  • Accountable for CMEP accounts payable - leading team of two associates to resolve any invoice errors and ensure timely supplier payments.
  • Lead for preparation of Annual Physical Inventory (API) exemption inclusive of maintaining close relationship with cycle count program lead throughout the cycle count year.
  • Key individual/liaison for Controls and Compliance to collaborate with both internal and external audit parties.
  • Key individual for helping lead and drive results on CMEP's contributions towards the wider EBU 3n3 profitability improvement work.
