About The Position

The Financial Analyst develops financial plans, reports, analyses, models and business decisions to support the maximization of property value. Your job will include: Analyze financial operations for a portfolio of regional properties. Develop and manage the annual budget for the operations team and act as a liaison between the team and property managers. Prepare financial analyses and written explanations of budget recommendations. Construct quarterly re-forecasts based on trend analysis, field requests from the operations team and recommend forecast adjustments. Run variance analyses to identify key trends and conduct ad hoc reporting to model financial scenarios and interpret findings. Perform project-based initiatives to improve process efficiencies and support other departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
  • Two or more years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in property management and/or real estate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn additional systems quickly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on company needs.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communications and analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
