About The Position

Provides comprehensive manufacturing finance reporting and analytical support across established operating rhythms. Owns monthly manufacturing KPI reporting and operating expense forecasting and supports the accounting close through disciplined variance monitoring and trend analysis. This position exists to ensure timely, accurate, and actionable financial insight and governance that enables manufacturing leadership to manage performance, control costs, prioritize capital deployment, and execute strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, mathematics or other analytical related fields of study preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or related analytical roles, including internships, co‑ops, or academic project experience.
  • Demonstrates ability to apply financial concepts through coursework or hands‑on experience, including data analysis, financial modeling, variance analysis, and proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Prior experience with product costing and cost accounting is an asset
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from suppliers, customers, management and inter-department staff.
  • Capable of working with internal staff from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Ability to see the big picture but also work at a detailed level.
  • Strong and self-confident personality with the ability to challenge assumptions and ideas and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver results reporting and analysis on Flash Reporting (Weekly), Margin Huddle (Bi-Weekly), Monthly Financial Review Meetings (Monthly), State of Manufacturing (Monthly), Material Review (Quarterly) Annual Growth Plan (AGP) (Annually)
  • Produce reporting on results, monthly Manufacturing KPI’s and Manufacturing Forecasting Operating Expenses and Working Capital Analysis
  • Oversee Capital Expense process for G&S for Accounting
  • Inventory Management / Product Costing (STD Costing roll)
  • Accounting Close – Monitoring trends and expected/unexpected one-off variances.
  • Ad Hoc- support on going Manufacturing Strategy projects
