Requirements

Responsibilities

  • The GIS Financial Analyst is responsible for managing financial processes and controls within the Global Information Services (GIS) organization.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, quarter end close, forecast support, balance sheet review and ad-hoc projects and analysis.
  • Business Partnering: The GIS analyst will work closely with the business unit finance team to manage deliverables.
  • This role will also interact regularly with the GIS executive team and will require clear and concise messaging of complicated financial topics.
  • Capital Management: Manage the CIP progress including working with operations to understand capital spend timelines and capitalization.
  • Initiate and monitor prepaid assets.
  • Manage the annual physical inventory process.
  • Responsible for the review and approval all purchase requisitions, CAR forms and Fieldglass contingent worker requests for the GIS organization
  • Monitor the spending for large vendor accounts to ensure alignment with expectations and proper accounting.
  • Prepare and process journal entries as needed, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal controls.
  • Responsible for ensuring organizational changes are properly reflected in the master data.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when needed.
  • Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance activities, by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and maintaining strong control discipline.
  • Push forward initiatives related to the Center of Excellence to drive standardization and further CoE model.
