About The Position

The Systems Analyst will ensure the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration. The System Analyst will work with NIWC stakeholders, development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provisioning RHEL and CentOS servers in both physical and virtual environments Integrating a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open source applications within existing RHEL and CentOS environments Troubleshooting quickly and efficiently in Linux, Windows based environments Researching and recommending innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD #LI-AM1

Requirements

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, computer hardware, or information technology
  • 10 or more years of experience with systems analysis and design
  • Three or more years of experience with Sybase, C, C++, X-Win, Linux, Windows and VMWare
  • One or more years of experience with Virtual Path Cross-Connect (VPX), Versa Module Eurocard (VME) or Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA)
  • One or more years of experience with Local Area Network (LAN) configuration
  • One or more years of experience with Machine Learning (ML)
  • Experience with Software Containerization applications such as Docker or Oracle Cloud
  • Experience configuring System/Network security controls
  • SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL

Responsibilities

  • Provisioning RHEL and CentOS servers in both physical and virtual environments
