About The Position

Ericsson is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst Intern to support the growth of its Americas Business. The role offers broad exposure to Finance, Accounting, Commercial, Operations, and transformation teams in a fast-paced environment shaped by telecom innovation, Network APIs, emerging competitors, and complex business challenges. Ericsson is a global telecom equipment and services leader, serving over 1,000 networks across 180+ countries. In the US, it holds more than 50% of the wireless network market, with Americas headquarters in Plano, Texas.

Requirements

Solid academic track record in pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
Strong analytical skills and interest in financial planning and analysis.
Proficient in Excel and curious about data analytics, visualizations and ERP/SAP tools.
Clear written and verbal communication in English.
High integrity and willingness to follow and promote Ericsson’s code of business ethics.
Collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and openness to digitalization and automation of processes and ways of working.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
2.7+ GPA or equivalent
Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op
Available for a full-time internship for 12 week

Responsibilities

Support monthly closing and performance reporting for Market Area Americas.
Assist with forecasting, planning cycles, and financial model updates.
Analyze financial and operational data to help build business cases and track results against defined success metrics.
Help with cost allocation, recovery models, and other financial management tasks.
Support data quality checks and prepare financial presentations for Finance leadership.
Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders on insights, process improvements, and advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
Provide documentation and analysis for internal audits.
