About The Position

The Finance organization partners with and advises the business by providing in-depth analysis on strategic decisions across Google products. Its work includes developing forward-looking analysis, generating management reports, and scaling automated financial processes. The role performs analysis of datasets to generate actionable business insights, evaluates and prioritizes risks and opportunities, and manages projects involving multiple stakeholders and changing circumstances. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The stated U.S. pay range is $116,000–$166,000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Four years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
• Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions—including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling—in a multinational company setting.
• Experience with programming, such as SQL.

• Experience building data infrastructure, such as designing architecture, building data pipelines, and implementing scalable monitoring, and implementing reporting solutions.
• Experience developing strategies in fast-paced competitive environments and using strong business judgment for resource-allocation decisions to achieve desired business outcomes.
• Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influence decision-making with numerical analysis, and generate insights.
• Ability to take ownership, interact confidently with all levels, set objectives, drive results, and work as a team player.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a wide variety of departments.
