About The Position

Reporting to the Financial Analysis Manager, the Financial Analyst II provides experienced-level financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making across the Ministry. This role independently manages portions of the forecasting, budgetary review, and financial planning process. This is an in-office position in Franklin, TN.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of financial analysis experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage non-financial audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables independently.
  • Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills; knowledge of financial systems preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a heart for Ministry.
  • Capacity to inspire and develop others while embracing feedback, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/Ministry relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values.
  • Must pass a pre-employment reference screen and background check.
  • Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must agree with K-LOVE Christ-Centered Life Covenant and Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent variance analysis and partner with departments to explain results.
  • Create and refine complex financial models for capital investment and Ministry growth initiatives.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasting reports for senior leadership.
  • Improve existing reporting tools and propose automation or visualization improvements.
  • Assist with Ministry-wide budgeting processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Interpret financial data and develop actionable insights that support Ministry success.
  • Mentor entry-level analysts and provide quality review of work.
  • Track and report on cash management processes, helping to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support special projects and strategic planning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
