About The Position

This role is responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, analyzing financial results, supporting forecasting and budgeting, developing financial models, and partnering with various business leaders to provide financial insights. The position also assists with month-end close activities, variance analysis, and management reporting, with a focus on enhancing reporting effectiveness through process improvement and automation. As permitted by law, this role may require late night, weekend, or holiday coverage during peak financial periods.

Requirements

Typically requires a 4 year degree and 2–4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work closely with various accounting and finance groups to support ongoing and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
Motivation, proactive ownership of responsibilities, attention to accuracy.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Drive to meet deadlines.
Ability to deliver a clear/concise message to management based on facts and data.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
Analyze actual financial results versus forecast, budget, and prior year performance.
Support forecasting and budgeting processes, including revenue, margin, operating expense, and working capital analysis.
Develop financial models and business case analyses to support strategic initiatives.
Partner with Sales and Business Unit leaders to provide actionable financial insights.
Assist with month-end close activities, variance analysis, and management reporting.
Support inventory, profitability, and working capital analysis.
Enhance reporting effectiveness through process improvement initiatives and automation opportunities.
