Requirements

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics or other quantitative discipline
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Power BI and/or MicroStrategy
  • ERP / Financial Systems (e.g., CMiC)
  • Knowledge of Construction accounting a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain monthly Flash and executive reporting packages, including KPI schedules and variance commentary.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis to budget and forecast; investigate unusual variances and document explanations.
  • Maintain and update standardized financial reporting templates to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities through data validation and report preparation.
  • Assist Manager and Departments with the preparation of quarterly and annual plans.
  • Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests from FP&A leadership and business partners.
  • Coordinate with Accounting and Business Unit contacts to validate financial data used in management reporting.
  • Support enhancements to reporting packages and financial dashboards to improve usability and insights.
  • Create/refresh Power BI outputs or requirements for reporting packages.
  • Assist with maintenance of financial hierarchies and reporting structures across systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of FP&A reporting processes.
