The Financial Analyst monitors and analyzes financial performance against plans and forecasts, delivering insights that support tactical and strategic decision-making. This role prepares financial reports, dashboards, and models; performs variance and trend analysis; and partners with leaders across the organization to improve profitability, efficiency, and financial processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or another related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience within accounting, finance, finance analytics, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data query/data management tools.
  • Good business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Create, distribute, and manage monthly and annual financial reporting and scorecards.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects.
  • Collect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units to track the organization's progress against financial goals.
  • Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
