About The Position

Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst. This role is contingent upon award of contract. The Financial Analyst will provide financial analytical support for federal programs and initiatives, integrating business, cost estimating, and financial management processes. This role involves developing strategic financial plans and cost estimates, translating funding requirements into executable budgets, and assessing procedures for compliance with government regulations and accounting principles. The analyst will also support multi-tiered financial system applications and standards, and is preferred to have experience with activity-based costing, business case analysis, and outsourcing requirements. Responsibilities include supporting transaction processing, research, tracking, and documentation, assisting with client workflows for efficient and accurate operations, performing reconciliations and compliance-focused reviews, organizing and validating financial data, maintaining accurate financial records and documentation, and supporting day-to-day financial operations and reporting activities.

Requirements

  • On-site in Washington, DC daily
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience supporting federal financial management processes
