About The Position

This position reports directly to the Director of Revenue Recovery and provides financial, analytical, and operational support across Revenue Recovery. The role will focus on financial reporting and forecasting, advanced data analytics, operational performance, credit and portfolio risk, process improvement, and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will partner with Revenue Recovery leaders and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, identify opportunities to improve financial and operational performance, and support key business decisions. Employees in this role supports Senior Management decision making via financial modeling, including but not limited to, revenue requirement and customer bill impacts, discounted cash flow analysis and financial statement modeling. This position identifies and conducts moderately complex analyses of financial impacts of issues and/or decisions facing the company and proposes strategies to maximize financial performance of company.

Requirements

High School Grad / GED
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 2+ years

Nice To Haves

Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Experience with SQL and analytical tools such as Python, R, SAS, or similar platforms
Experience with data visualization, forecasting, predictive analytics, financial and credit risk analysis, process improvement, and large complex datasets
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP is a plus
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial and operational reporting, forecasts, dashboards, and analytics supporting Revenue Recovery, including accounts receivable, bad debt, write-offs, deposits, recoveries, and other key business drivers.
Review financial and operational results for accuracy, trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
Perform financial modeling, statistical analysis, business case evaluations, NPV analyses, and other financial assessments supporting strategic and operational decisions.
Provide data mining and advanced analytics using SQL, Python, R, SAS, or other analytical tools, including development and support of predictive and AI-based models.
Analyze credit and financial risk using internal data, financial statements, and third-party information to support decisions related to credit exposure, deposits, payment policies, bankruptcies, collections, and write-off mitigation.
Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualization solutions that provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
Provide analytical and operational oversight across Revenue Recovery functions to identify performance gaps, emerging risks, process issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Lead or support strategic projects involving collections, credit risk, deposits, bankruptcy, revenue protection, fraud, recoveries, and other Revenue Recovery activities.
Design, implement, and monitor process and system changes to support evolving business needs and improve operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities for automation, AI, system enhancements, and robotic process automation (RPA), including development of business requirements and partnership with IT on implementation.
Work with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to analyze complex business issues, develop solutions, and provide recommendations to leadership.
Evaluate vendors, technologies, and data solutions that may improve Revenue Recovery operations and decision-making.
Support other financial, analytical, operational, and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Director of Revenue Recovery.
Identifies, analyzes, and communicates to management the impact on the Company's financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position utilizing relevant analytical methods and/or department’s forecasting models.
Provides financial analysis support for various projects, calculating revenue requirements, net present value, customer bill impact, etc.
Provides expertise, support, and financial training for the company departments requiring these services.
Performs financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies.
Prepares PowerPoint presentations to be provided to Senior and Executive Management.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
