About The Position

V2X is seeking a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Analyst (Journeyman) to provide financial management support to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) MH-60R Program. This position independently executes program financial requirements, performs budget and expenditure analysis, supports funding execution, and provides recommendations related to financial planning and budget execution. The Journeyman Analyst serves as an experienced member of the financial team and may provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior personnel while supporting Business Financial Managers (BFMs) and program leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • One year of directly related experience may be substituted for one year of education, where applicable.
  • Three to five years of experience supporting financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, financial management, or related business operations
  • Experience performing budget execution, expenditure tracking, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and financial management databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with government customers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense programs, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, or government financial management activities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial management support to PMA-299 Business Financial Managers (BFMs) and the V2X Financial Team Lead supporting the RAN MH-60R Program.
  • Collect, analyze, and track case budget requirements while coordinating with program offices, contractors, and U.S. Government agencies.
  • Execute program funding transactions within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in accordance with approved budget requirements and customer direction.
  • Perform monthly expenditure forecasting, re-baselining, and disbursement analysis utilizing the Disbursement Tracker (DT); identify, research, and resolve funding and expenditure variances.
  • Serve as an experienced user of financial databases and reporting tools; provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members as needed.
  • Support the preparation and processing of Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) amendments and modifications.
