About The Position

First Quality is a family-owned company founded over 35 years ago, with a significant presence across the U.S. and Canada. We specialize in producing high-quality personal care and household products. We are seeking a Financial Analyst for First Quality Products in McElhattan, PA, to provide transactional and analytical support for general accounting and financial reporting. This role involves reconciling balance sheet accounts and contributing to accounting/financial projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Knowledge of US GAAP basic principles and elements of internal controls.
• Understanding of a manufacturing accounting environment.

Nice To Haves

• MBA, CPA, and/or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting monthly close activities, including general ledger journal entries and drafting financial statements.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparing and documenting financial analysis projects (e.g., financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital).
• Participating in intercompany initiatives to improve financial reporting, standardize processes, and enhance internal controls.
• Providing analysis for forward-looking financial and business projects.
• Preparing budgets/forecasts and analyzing trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, and general business conditions.
• Offering financial support and analytics to various individuals and departments.
• Contributing to or leading moderately complex project aspects.
• Working independently and collaboratively.
