About The Position

Become the essential financial architect at Saddle Rock Legal Group in Scottsdale, AZ, shaping strategy as our full-time Financial Analyst -FP&A! We're seeking a confident, highly-professional Financial Analyst - FP&A who excels in an autonomous environment and can communicate complex financial topics with clarity and impact to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience using advanced Excel in a professional setting
  • 2+ years of experience building financial models supporting senior-level decision-making
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (power formulas, pivot tables, large data sets, financial modeling)
  • Comfortable working with Litify, Leadspedia, QuickBooks, Power BI, SharePoint, and complex Excel tranche models
  • Familiarity with corporate finance concepts (IRR, cohort analysis, operating leverage) and a solid grounding in basic accounting
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills; able to make sense of messy or incomplete datasets
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial topics to non-finance stakeholders
  • High level of professionalism and confidence when working directly with senior leadership
  • Ability to thrive in a high-velocity, high-autonomy environment with shifting priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in legal services, professional services, private equity, or high-volume operational environments is preferred
  • Progress toward CFA, CPA, CMA, or a relevant master's degree is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Compile and present monthly financial and operational performance insights across litigation portfolios, providing key variance analyses that inform crucial decisions.
  • Build and maintain settlement forecasting models.
  • Analyze intake funnel performance.
  • Support attorney partner reporting.
  • Reconcile complex data sets across systems like Salesforce, QuickBooks, and Power BI to uphold data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Deliver concise insights and executive-level presentations to senior leadership.
  • Take ownership of ad hoc analyses, driving the firm's financial success in this high-accountability role tailored for those who thrive in a data-rich environment.
