Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of post-qualification or related experience, preferably in a centralized head office environment.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with solid experience working with Microsoft Excel.
  • Professional accounting designation or currently working toward a CPA designation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with financial consolidation software (e.g. FCC) would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, investigating variances and ensuring integrity of consolidated data.
  • Support the corporate consolidation process in Oracle FCC.
  • Assist in maintaining reporting hierarchies, mapping files and metadata within Oracle FCC and assist with Smart View reporting templates.
  • Participate in the preparation of consolidated management reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards.
  • Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements and notes to disclosure under IFRS.
  • Support quarterly and year-end audit processes by preparing working papers and responding to auditor inquiries.
