Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, concessions, or PPP environments (developers, sponsors, advisors, or lenders).
  • Solid understanding of concession models, risk allocation, and long‑term infrastructure contracts.
  • Experience with financial modeling for project finance (Excel-based models).
  • Knowledge of financing instruments used in infrastructure projects (debt, equity, guarantees).
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced, deal-oriented environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in water, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
  • Exposure to development phase financing and early-stage project risk analysis.
  • Understanding of bank requirements and lender perspectives for non‑recourse financing.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) is a plus.
  • Professional certifications (CFA or equivalent) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and maintain financial models for infrastructure concessions, PPPs, and project finance structures (including design-build, DBF, DBFM, and P3 models).
  • Analyze financing structures, including senior debt, mezzanine, equity, development phase financing, and non‑recourse or limited‑recourse structures.
  • Support the evaluation of development costs, CAPEX, OPEX, lifecycle costs, tariffs, and returns under different risk allocation scenarios.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memos, bid submissions, and internal approval documentation.
  • Participate in the structuring and assessment of bankability, affordability, and risk allocation terms in concession agreements.
  • Coordinate with external advisors (financial, legal, technical, tax) during bid, development, and financing processes.
  • Support negotiations related to financing terms, guarantees, repayment mechanisms, and contractual financial provisions.
  • Monitor financial performance of existing concessions, including variance analysis against budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Assist with financial close activities, including lender due diligence and documentation review.
  • Prepare presentations and financial analyses for senior management and investment committees.
