About The Position

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑paced finance team within QCT’s Automotive Business Unit. The FA Associate – Automotive FP&A position will provide analytical and operational support across core FP&A activities, including financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting. The role is hands‑on and execution‑focused, supporting the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of financial information that informs business and financial planning. The associate will work closely with senior finance team members and cross‑functional partners, including Product Management, Business Operations, and Sales. This role is well suited for candidates seeking to build strong FP&A fundamentals while supporting a high‑visibility and growing Automotive business.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfortable working with large data sets and models.
  • Solid understanding of basic financial concepts (P&L, forecasting, variance analysis).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 1+ year of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support quarterly and annual forecasting and budgeting activities for the Automotive Business Unit.
  • Assist with consolidation of BU‑level forecasts, budgets, and long‑range plans.
  • Prepare standard variance analyses versus forecast, budget, and prior periods.
  • Build, maintain, and update Excel‑based financial models and analysis tools.
  • Prepare recurring management reports and executive‑level summary materials.
  • Perform ad‑hoc financial analyses in support of business decisions and leadership requests.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across financial systems and reports.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather inputs and understand business drivers.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities within FP&A processes.
