About The Position

The Senior Director, Financial Analysis – Enterprise FP&A provides strategic financial leadership and analytical support for enterprise‑wide planning, forecasting, and performance management. This role partners closely with Enterprise Finance leadership and all business unit and enterprise FP&A teams to drive disciplined financial outcomes, improve forecasting accuracy, elevate analytical insights and support executive decision‑making across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related finance roles, with demonstrated enterprise‑level exposure.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise planning, forecasting, and financial performance management.
  • Proven experience supporting senior executives with complex financial analyses and recommendations.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence across a large, matrixed organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and analytical depth.
  • Effective communicator who can distill complex financial topics for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise‑level financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with and execution of enterprise financial objectives and reporting to senior leadership and board of directors on a regular basis
  • Partner closely with business unit/corporate function FP&A, Treasury and Corporate Development teams to ensure clarity and execution of expectations within every forecasting/planning cycle, including timelines, materials and analytics, forecasting methodologies, cash flow analysis, economic scenarios and other considerations
  • Directly responsible for reporting, forecasting and ensuring execution of P&L performance within Cigna’s Corporate/Other reporting segment
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations team in preparing for quarterly earnings calls
  • Partner with Human Resources leadership to establish targets for and report on progress against annual and long-term incentive compensation plans
  • Oversee enterprise performance tracking and scorecarding, including key metrics, variance analysis, and drivers of financial results.
  • Prepare clear, concise and analytically advanced enterprise‑level materials for executive leadership, including financial reviews, scenario analyses, and decision support presentations.
  • Serve as thought leader across the FP&A ecosystem to continuously improve analytical insights, forecasting processes and methodologies, forecasting accuracy and data visualization techniques.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize planning, reporting, and forecasting processes across the enterprise while maintaining appropriate controls.
