The Financial Aid Counselor II provides routine financial aid counseling and processing support by applying established federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the consistent execution of standard workflows related to advising, eligibility review, and aid awarding, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and responsive, student-focused service. The Student Financial Aid Officer works under general guidance as part of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA), serving as an active and engaged contributor while collaborating across the office to support service delivery and referring complex or non-standard cases for advanced review.
