About The Position

This is a customer service position assisting a diverse student population within Herzing University's Online Division. In this role, you will guide students through the financial aid process and counsel prospective and current students through funding options. Financial Advisors receive onboarding support through our On the Job Training Program and have opportunities for growth through our Career Pathways. It is preferred that candidates are located near Herzing University's markets, though remote work is possible for employees residing in the United States.

Requirements

Great customer service skills and experience.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent critical thinking skills.
Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
Must be able to occasionally move around the work location.
Constantly operates office and/or teach equipment which may include computers, copiers, fax machines, audio/visuals.
Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate with students, staff or colleagues face-to-face or over the telephone.
Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
Occasionally move, carry, or lift 10 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience/knowledge of Student Information Systems (CampusNexus & Regent preferred).
Associate Financial Aid Advisor: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Financial Aid Advisor: Title IV administration/VA certifying official preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
