About The Position
This position is for a Financial Advisor at Safe Federal Credit Union in Sumter, SC. The role is an employment opportunity with TruStage, associated with LPL Financial. The advisor will join Safe FCU's Investment Program, which supports the local community and helps members with their financial lives. The role offers the chance to grow a career and business by assisting Safe FCU members. The advisor will service an existing book of business, build a strong client base through the credit union's referral system, and find new clients from the member base. The position allows for creating client solutions without proprietary products and leveraging LPL's tools, technology, support, and experience in growing investment programs. The advisor will also benefit from the credit union's reputation and community standing. LPL Financial provides proprietary technology, customized services, an open architecture platform with access to thousands of investment products, and firm-wide resources and expertise to help create client solutions, offering the freedom to tailor solutions to client goals. Employment is with TruStage, with LPL Financial holding securities/insurance licenses.
Requirements
- Series 7 and 66 (63/65) required
- Insurance license required
- Three or more years of investment sales experience
Responsibilities
- Service an existing book of business upon hire
- Build a strong client base with the credit union’s exceptional referral system
- Find new clients via the credit union’s member base
- Create client solutions without proprietary products
- Help the people and families that look to Safe FCU for financial solutions
