Edward Jones•Boardman, OH
•$45,000 - $100,000

About The Position

Edward Jones Financial Advisors partner with clients to help them achieve long-term financial goals, including retirement, building wealth, estate strategies, and funding education. Advisors develop and grow their own practices with support from a branch team, regional financial advisors, and the home office. They lead the branch team, understand clients’ goals and priorities, provide personalized financial strategies, and contribute to the firm’s purpose and local communities. The firm provides paid training to help advisors become registered and licensed, a salary during the first five years as they build their practice, a firm-provided branch office, branch-office support, and a broader support network. Compensation can include commissions, profit sharing, incentive travel, and compensation tied to new assets gathered. The role offers schedule flexibility and ongoing professional development. As commissions and asset-based compensation increase during the first five years, salary decreases. The position involves building a client base and relationships, understanding client and prospective-client needs, overseeing branch operations, developing and monitoring the branch business plan, and fostering an engaging branch environment. Advisors complete required licensing, ongoing firm and regulatory training, and continuing education to maintain their licenses.
