About The Position

BCG Securities, part of the Horace Mann family, is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven, entrepreneurial Financial Advisor to grow their practice within a supportive environment. BCG Securities is a broker-dealer and Registered Investment Advisor with over 50 years of experience supporting financial advisors in wealth management, financial planning, insurance, and employer-sponsored retirement plans. They offer advisors flexibility, support, meaningful client relationships, and opportunities for business growth by serving individual clients and supporting retirement plan relationships, plan participants, business owners, and employers. This role offers production-based compensation including advisory fees and commissions, supported by a collaborative platform, operational resources, and retirement plan opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Advisor
  • Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, or Series 7 with Series 65/63
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and client-focused service

Nice To Haves

  • Life and Health insurance licenses preferred
  • Experience with retirement plans, employer-sponsored plans, education markets, participant engagement, or business-owner relationships preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial plans for new and existing clients based on their goals, financial circumstances, time horizon, and risk tolerance
  • Provide investment recommendations and portfolio guidance consistent with client objectives, applicable standards of care, and firm policies
  • Deliver ongoing client service, including reviews, plan updates, and portfolio recommendations as client needs evolve
  • Discuss insurance and annuity solutions, where appropriate, as part of the planning process
  • Support retirement plan relationships, plan participants, and employer-sponsored retirement plan opportunities, where applicable
  • Support clients through broader planning conversations, including financial planning, retirement income planning, wealth management, and insurance solutions
  • Build and manage strong client relationships through consistent communication, service, and follow-through
  • Work with internal teams, support staff, and subject matter resources to support a strong advisor, client, and retirement plan experience
