As part of the Edward Jones Connections team, you´ll help ensure clients receive personalized financial guidance and support while partnering closely with practice teams across the country. As a Financial Advisor, you'll serve clients with less complex financial needs, helping them stay connected to the firm through personalized service, proactive outreach and ongoing financial guidance. You'll build meaningful client relationships, provide tailored solutions and help clients navigate important financial decisions while supporting the long-term growth and retention of client relationships. Through phone and virtual interactions, you'll combine relationship-building skills, financial services knowledge and sound judgment to deliver an ideal client experience consistent with the Edward Jones branch experience. Working alongside client service administrators, practice teams and service partners, you'll play an important role in helping clients feel known, supported and confident in their financial journey.

Requirements

  • Active Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or a combination of Series 63 and Series 65 licenses.
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to build trust and provide guidance through phone and virtual interactions.
  • Ability to understand and communicate information related to securities, investment strategies, market conditions and financial topics.
  • Strong organizational, critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical information while navigating multiple systems and technologies.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual Spanish language skills
  • Demonstrated success developing client relationships and increasing client engagement
  • Experience collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes
  • Familiarity with financial planning and relationship management tools, including Salesforce and MoneyGuide

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary financial advisor for assigned client relationships, providing personalized guidance and solutions aligned with each client's goals and needs.
  • Partner with local practice teams to strengthen client relationships, preserve local connections and deliver a seamless client experience across multiple service channels.
  • Build trust through proactive outreach, helping clients stay engaged, re-engaging dormant relationships and identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships over time.
  • Conduct client conversations through phone and virtual platforms to understand financial needs, provide appropriate guidance and deliver ongoing support.
  • Provide tailored client service and help resolve questions, service issues and outstanding requests with a sense of urgency and care.
  • Collaborate with Client Service Administrators and other business partners to ensure timely follow-through and a consistent client experience.
  • Exercise sound judgment when identifying and escalating compliance, risk or supervisory concerns while maintaining a strong focus on protecting clients and doing what's right.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights, adopting feedback and helping enhance the client experience across Edward Jones Connections.
  • Support clients across the country during extended service hours. Work schedules are aligned to local time zones and business needs, with most associates working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. locally.
