About The Position

As a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual, you will help individuals and businesses pursue their financial goals through personalized insurance solutions and financial planning. You will build long-term client relationships, understand individual needs, and provide tailored financial solutions. The role includes ongoing training, mentorship, professional licensing support, and access to a dedicated planning team and marketing resources. Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Analytical thinking and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Obtain necessary licenses, such as Series 6, 63, and state insurance licenses; training and sponsorship are available.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, or military equivalent.
Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or business development is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.
Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, and retirement planning.
Recommend and implement insurance strategies to protect clients’ assets and income.
Monitor clients’ financial plans, provide regular updates, and adjust strategies as circumstances change.
Build and maintain a client network through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.
