The Financial Advisor Trainee (FA Trainee) role is a transitional position designed to equip the individual with the necessary skills to qualify for a Financial Advisor Associate (FAA) role. Upon completion of the trainee program, the individual will transition into an FAA role, responsible for attracting and retaining clients by addressing their wealth management advisory needs. This involves meeting with prospects and clients to analyze their financial information, understanding their short and long-term financial goals, and educating them on investment and insurance strategies and products. The FA Trainee will recommend personalized investment and insurance strategies to meet financial and wealth creation objectives. The role requires broad knowledge and the ability to advise clients on financial analysis, markets, goals, and wealth management, along with strong interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships. As an FA, the individual will act as a fiduciary, prioritizing client financial interests, providing ongoing objective financial advice, long-term retirement planning, and annual reviews. The FA will be responsible for all aspects of developing and maintaining client relationships, including consultation, advice, planning, and day-to-day account servicing. Once assigned a territory, the FA will educate and coach Retail Store staff to identify referral prospects and engage key partners across the organization for enterprise opportunities.
