The Financial Advisor Trainee (FA Trainee) role is a transitional position designed for individuals to acquire the necessary skills to qualify for a Financial Advisor Associate (FAA) role within a specified timeframe. Upon successful completion of the trainee program, the individual will transition into an FAA role. In this capacity, the FA will be responsible for attracting and retaining clients by addressing their wealth management advisory needs. This involves conducting meetings with prospects and clients to analyze their financial information, including income, cash flow, assets, and liabilities, and to understand their short and long-term financial goals. The FA will educate and advise clients on investment and insurance strategies and products, recommending personalized solutions to meet their financial and wealth creation objectives. The role requires broad knowledge and demonstrated ability in financial analysis, financial markets, investment and insurance strategies, and wealth management, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to develop lasting client relationships. As a Financial Advisor, the individual will act as a fiduciary, prioritizing clients' financial interests by providing ongoing objective financial advice, long-term retirement planning, and annual reviews to adapt to changes in financial status or goals. Once transitioned to an FAA, responsibilities will include all aspects of developing and maintaining client relationships, providing consultation, advice, planning, and day-to-day account servicing. The FAA will leverage relationship-building skills to grow their client base and achieve assigned goals, educate and coach Retail Store staff for referral generation, and identify enterprise opportunities by collaborating with key partners across the organization.
