The Financial Advisor Trainee (FA Trainee) role is a transitional role designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills to qualify for the Financial Advisor Associate (FAA) position within a specified timeframe. Upon successful completion of the trainee program, individuals will transition into an FAA role, where they will be responsible for attracting and retaining clients by addressing their wealth management advisory needs. This involves meeting with prospects and clients to analyze their financial information, understand their goals, and educate them on investment and insurance strategies and products. The role requires broad knowledge of financial markets, goals, and wealth management, along with strong interpersonal skills to build client relationships. As an FA, you will act as a fiduciary, prioritizing the client's financial interests. Responsibilities include providing objective financial advice, long-term retirement planning, and conducting annual reviews. Once transitioned to an FA role, you will manage all aspects of client relationships, including ongoing consultation, advice, planning, and account servicing. As an FAA, you will leverage relationship-building and influencing skills to develop your client base and meet goals. This includes educating Retail Store staff on identifying referral prospects, identifying enterprise opportunities, and engaging key partners across the organization. The role requires obtaining specific FINRA licenses (Life & Health, Series 7, Series 66) and adhering to FINRA regulations.
