About The Position

AdviceOne is seeking a Financial Advisor-in-Training for a unique, life-changing opportunity within a fast-growing advisory firm. This role is part of a comprehensive two-year advisor development program designed to cultivate exceptional individuals into elite advisors, focusing on client relationships and financial planning rather than cold calls or investment analysis. The program emphasizes hands-on experience from early on, with trainees participating in client meetings by week two. Upon completion, graduates will possess the skills of an advisor with 10 years of experience, serving their own clients. The firm serves leaders in the aerospace industry, requiring precision and excellence in financial decision-making support.

  • A bachelor's degree (or graduation within six months) - field of study doesn't matter.
  • The instincts to connect with people and the drive to do hard things.

Nice To Haves

  • Backgrounds in hospitality, retail, restaurants, or other client-facing roles.
  • Degrees in communications, English, and psychology.
  • Open to relocating to Connecticut in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Own real client relationships early with mentorship, structure, and a team behind you.
  • Lead financial planning conversations that shape how successful families approach retirement, security, and legacy.
  • Sit in on real client meetings to build acumen and confidence.
  • Serve your own clients with the skills of an advisor with 10 years of experience upon program completion.
