About The Position

As a Financial Advisor Associate, you will be responsible for completing administrative functions and member facing tasks to support the Financial Advisor in building strong member relationships. You will ensure a positive experience for our members through service excellence and product knowledge. This position is an opportunity to grow and prepare for the Financial Advisor position. More specifically, some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Proactively obtain appropriate searches and documents to assist the Financial Advisor with preparation for member appointments. Accurately prepare correspondence, reports, forms, letters, and standard branch documents. Enter and prepare consumer loan and mortgage documentation for member signature and disbursement. Assist members with loan and deposit inquiries; follow up on requests for information on interest paid, principal totals, loan payouts, posting errors and pertinent details of loan and/or deposit particulars. Identify products and/or services that benefit the members’ financial well-being and refer to the appropriate advisor. Open and review new accounts, following up with members as needed.

Requirements

  • In order to qualify for this role, you will need your high school diploma and at least one year experience in retail banking.
  • A diploma or certificate in finance, business, or related field is an asset.
  • As our ideal candidate, you have a high level of attention to detail, accurate and consistent data entry.
  • You possess superior active listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are a positive team player with strong organizational and priority management skills.
  • Above all, you are flexible and adaptable, and motivated to positively contribute to the success of the organization!

Responsibilities
