At Lauterbach & Amen, we value our people and know that each employee is vital to our success. We are searching for a full-time Accountant. This role will be based at a client in Vernon Hills, IL.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field of study
• 0-3 years of general accounting experience required
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
• Strong organizations skills and detail-oriented
• Highly motivated, self-starter

Nice To Haves

• CPA or actively pursuing a license preferred
• Previous accounting/cash receipt experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger entries
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with preparing financial statements
• Prepare government-required reports
• Advise clients on internal accounting matters
• Payroll processing
• Compliance reporting
