Requirements

Positive energy and creativity

Dedication to building science
Experience with light wood frame construction
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture with at least five years of relevant experience
Licensed to practice in MA or actively pursuing licensure
Proficiency in BIM software (ArchiCAD preferred; Revit acceptable)
Fluency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe tools
US citizenship or a valid work permit (EAD)
Fluency in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

Lead clients and project teams through a creative, collaborative, and efficient design process from concept to construction.
Tackle project challenges with innovative design solutions.
Balance aesthetics, function, sustainability, health, durability, buildability, schedule, and budget in every decision.
Foster trust through active listening and open communication.
Create clear, comprehensive documentation to communicate ideas and decisions.
Oversee consultants and guide designer-level staff.
Ensure construction aligns with design intent and documentation.
Partner with Production staff to enhance buildability, celebrate craft, manage risks, learn from experience, and develop accurate project estimates.
