About The Position

The Pennsylvania State University Office of Budget and Finance invites applications for the position of a Finance Support Coordinator to support financial operations within Campus Recreation and Club Sports. The coordinator will serve as the liaison between the Unit and the centralized finance hubs to ensure that unit financial needs are understood, routed appropriately, and resolved efficiently. This position will have a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: Support the Financial Strategic Partner and Financial Analyst with financial transaction coordination Assist department stakeholders in navigating financial processes, policies, and systems by serving as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries from units, escalating and coordinating requests, as needed Provide financial information for transaction initiation Monitor the status of submitted requests and ensure timely resolution Ensure department staff understand how to access financial services, use self-service tools, and comply with institutional financial practices Support preparation of documentation, data gathering, and travel coordination efforts for Club Sports Teams Coordinate travel, purchases, and financial transactions for all Club Sports Teams This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Requirements

  • General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
  • Due to the financial and fiduciary responsibilities of this position, successful completion of a credit history check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Financial Strategic Partner and Financial Analyst with financial transaction coordination
