Our ideal candidate will contribute effectively towards our team goals in a cross-functional role and ensure exceptional customer experience for our client and their employees. This position may require occasional travel to D.C. in support of client needs and expectations. Only candidates in the DC Metro Area will be considered. Please note, this position is continent upon award (May/June 2026)

Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • 10 years of overall professional experience
  • The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Deep subject matter expertise in federal financial management, organizational design, audit, and accounting
  • Effective project management skills, including a demonstrated ability to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interface well with end-users and client stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to quickly establish rapport with stakeholders and SMEs in order to provide high-quality of service.
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
  • Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices, and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution Process (PPBE)/Managing for Results (MFR)
  • The ability to support occasional travel to D.C. in support of client needs and expectations

Responsibilities

  • Provides executive level guidance and subject matter expertise to accounting and audit teams.
  • Serves as knowledge base and advisor to accountants, financial professionals, auditors, and accounting personnel.
  • Responds to and solves questions related to government regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Practices, and financial guidelines that may be agency or organization-specific.
  • Project implementation support to execute a complex, multi-phase enterprise transformation.
  • Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer.
