Remote Finance & Research Analyst
About The Position
Turing is seeking finance experts to work with its researchers to improve the performance of AI models. Experts may contribute knowledge from areas including capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, accounting, and other finance disciplines. No prior AI experience is required. The work involves evaluating large language models in finance areas where performance is weak, creating rubrics to assess capabilities in areas such as deal analysis and M&A assessments, and collaborating with AI researchers and other finance experts to shape training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks. This is a fully remote, flexible freelance opportunity with a commitment of 10–30 hours per week. The engagement is expected to last one month, with possible extension based on performance and project needs. Hourly compensation is approximately $100 or more, depending on experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth equity, FP&A, accounting, or financial consulting.
- Strong grasp of financial concepts relevant to the applicant’s domain, such as investment analysis, research, forecasting, revenue builds, corporate finance, asset management, and risk management.
- Excellent written English communication.
Nice To Haves
- CFA Level I, II, or III, or a CA, CPA, or MBA in Finance.
- No prior AI experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate LLMs in finance areas where they do not perform well.
- Create rubrics to assess model capabilities in areas of finance expertise, such as deal analysis and M&A assessments.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow finance experts to shape training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks.
