About The Position

Turing is seeking finance experts to collaborate with researchers to improve AI model performance. Experts may work across areas such as capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, accounting, and related fields. Prior AI experience is not required.

The role involves evaluating large language models in finance, developing rubrics to assess model capabilities in areas of the expert’s specialization, and collaborating with AI researchers and other finance experts on training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks. The engagement is freelance, fully remote, and flexible, with a commitment of 10–30 hours per week. It is expected to last one month, with possible extension depending on performance and project needs. Compensation is approximately $100 or more per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth equity, FP&A, accounting, or financial consulting.
• Strong grasp of financial concepts relevant to the candidate’s domain, such as investment analysis, research, forecasting, revenue builds, corporate finance, asset management, or risk management.
• Excellent written English communication.

Nice To Haves

• CFA Level I, II, or III.
• CA, CPA, or an MBA in Finance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate LLM models in finance areas where they do not perform well.
• Create rubrics to assess model capabilities in areas of finance expertise, such as deal analysis and M&A assessments.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow finance experts to shape training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks.
