About The Position

This role is a key team member on the MT Transcend Program, responsible for deployment activities for the MedTech Transcend Finance transformation initiative within the Capital Equipment/Commercial Fixed Assets process area. The role is responsible for the successful implementation of S4 HANA technology & related process solutions in Finance and for leading the execution of key project deliverables and milestones across all project phases that will enable a successful and compliant North America OTC go-live. The candidate will bring a deep personal motivation to advance healthcare and Finance processes through Transformation, backed by eager self-learning and experience in the Finance, Compliance & ERP fields, and their relevance to MedTech. They should be keen to bravely push forward despite any ambiguity or resistance and be a voice for change, leading and influencing by example.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 Years job experience in Finance, preferably in MedTech
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or similar
  • Professional Accountancy qualification
  • Fluent in English and have good presentation skills
  • People Leadership – a C.E.O mindset, (Compete, Execute, Optimize)
  • Experience working with SQL / Alteryx
  • US GAAP knowledge
  • SAP knowledge, S4 HANA is preferred
  • Deep accounting knowledge of Capital Equipment, placement models and Commercial Fixed Assets
  • Documentation writing – e.g. DTPs & Work Instructions
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and complex issues
  • Ability to work and lead under pressure
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and manage a team with a defined area of responsibility
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with end users and project teams
  • Ability to drive consensus and resolve conflicts across multiple parties with conflicting views

Responsibilities

  • Represent user requirements for design and prioritize for respective process within region
  • Support Solution Confirmation (Fit/Gap assessment) for process to Global Template
  • Support Deployment Lead in delivering concurrent deployments within region
  • Testing coordination (BST / UAT / BRT / SCT) across respective process within region
  • Testing execution at all stages (BST/ UAT / BRT / SCT / Hypercare) as needed
  • Testing of SOX controls as needed
  • Collaboration with other workstreams to support the execution of end-to-end testing within region
  • Defect / Incident Management (testing & hypercare)
  • Lead Data cleansing, conversion & migration efforts for region (production & quality environments)
  • Involvement in Change Impact Assessment
  • Oversee Documentation updates for respective process within region
  • Involvement in production cutover planning & execution within region
  • Stage gate support (incl. metrics) within region
  • Acting as a change agent and super user towards service delivery teams within region
  • Proactive sharing of process improvement and automation ideas
  • Work with all required stakeholders to ensure proper and timely communications
  • Accountable for a smooth transition to new operating model with minimal disruption to the operations
  • Accountable for overall customer satisfaction during deployment process
  • Accountable for issue and risk resolution & escalation to management where required
  • Engage with key stakeholders and lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transition to new ways of working
