About The Position

The Manager – Financial Operations is responsible for the execution, accuracy, and continuous improvement of forecast operation processes, including rolling forecasts, automation adoption and enhancement, and ensuring alignment with Business and Finance leadership expectations and data integrity. This role is designed to lead and transform processes focused on delivering timely, standardized, and scalable financial solutions to support across the finance function to provide clear financial outlooks. The Manager enhances team processes, tracks team outputs, and supports the resolution of recurring process challenges. By ensuring the integrity of finance processes and data, the Manager enables Strategic Finance Advisors (SFAs) and Finance Operations to focus on forward-looking analysis and business decision support. While maintaining core responsibilities, the Manager of Financial Operations prioritizes and manages multiple planned and time-sensitive requests from leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial data supporting strategic decision-making activities.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5 years+ of accounting or financial analysis experience
  • Conceptual understanding of US GAAP
  • Intermediate Technical Skills (Excel, PPT, PowerBI, consolidation tool (e.g. Hyperion, OneStream), Oracle)
  • Strong modeling skills
  • Experience analyzing and forecasting all three financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • Ability to travel for business as needed
  • Attention to detail: Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project and be able to manage multiple requests at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Own the forecast operating rhythm of monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts, as well as the annual target process, including managing timelines, business partnerships, and data governance.
  • Automate and standardize recurring forecast processes and reporting workflows to improve accuracy, scalability, and speed of decision support.
  • Partner with the Business and Finance Leaders to provide pertinent data and analytical outlook to establish Operational and Financial goal alignment and drive toward results.
  • Respond timely and thoughtfully to adhoc financial requests and perform necessary financial analysis.
  • Improve processes utilizing Better Smarter Faster (BSF) tools and participate in Finance and business partner process events.
  • Review group specific reconciliations to expenses and forecast and coordinate with the appropriate teams to adjust outlooks accordingly to ensure an accurate forecast.
  • Perform occasional maintenance of system structure to enable accurate reporting and forecasting.
