This role provides financial analysis and operational support within the Finance department. The analyst will understand business objectives, contribute to financial goals, and recommend actions based on analysis. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, reconciling variances, coordinating finance projects and audits, collecting and analyzing data, and providing subject matter expertise. The role also involves identifying and resolving operational issues, developing reporting functions, and managing customer relationships within TD Finance. The position requires prioritizing workload to meet service level agreements, maintaining confidentiality, managing risks, and potentially leading small-scale initiatives. The analyst will be part of a team, contributing to a positive work environment, and continuously enhancing their knowledge and expertise. They will also participate in personal development activities and knowledge transfer within the team. The role requires a sound understanding of the operating environment, business processes, and transaction lifecycle for their area, with a general understanding of the overall function and businesses supported. Some complexity in operational/reporting/process and/or analysis is expected, generally requiring a short-term focus. The role may lead small-scale initiatives or work stream packages with guidance from management.
