The Client Finance Manager is responsible for annual budget preparation, monthly forecasts, strategic financial planning, management reporting to the client and C&W corporate office, and other special projects as assigned. This role involves maintaining the general ledger for client and corporate-related financials, establishing finance-related priorities, and ensuring all reporting deadlines and goals are met. The manager will have complete ownership of monthly results, operating budgets, and reforecasts. A key responsibility includes managing the monthly client rent roll to third-party landlords and approving monthly funding requests for third-party vendor reimbursables. Daily reconciliation of banking activity and ensuring working capital requirements are met are also critical. The role requires active engagement with the client to promote the relationship, particularly concerning financial performance and reporting, including attendance at annual budget reviews and monthly operating review meetings. Additionally, the Finance Manager will monitor the performance of financial staff, oversee departmental needs, and develop training programs for accounting personnel. This includes remitting collections of payroll and fees to C&W corporate personnel and monitoring related receivable reports to limit C&W's exposure to bad debts through diligent collection efforts. Annual and mid-year performance reviews for supervised personnel are also part of the responsibilities.
