About The Position

The Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) Finance Organization has an immediate need for an M4 OSC Finance Manager supporting the SPY-6 program in the Naval Integrated Solutions program area. Candidates will have responsibility in the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit (SBU) supporting a number of programs in the SPY-6 portfolio. The candidate will lead a team of Operations and Material Analysts executing all aspects of the production finance processes (EACs, EVMS, etc). The ideal candidate will help construct and execute change management protocols generating value to the executing originations via critical analysis, bandwidth management, guidance and insights. They will be expert communicators, able to transfer knowledge, resolve conflicts and relay timing critical information across all multi-functional stakeholder environments. Lastly, they will prioritize and allocate resources in a dynamic, geographically dispersed, and deadline driven environment. The manager will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity of material analysis while infusing expertise and best practices into the organization. This effort will be inclusive of side-by-side analysis with working teams to drive analytical capability growth and appropriate functional ownership accountability to the results generated. Each program includes an efficient and effective team that relies on individual drive and integrity for success. Rapport is of upmost priority and it is expected that the candidate is capable of building business relationships and trust with all stakeholders. Leaders will be responsible for understanding the drivers within their respective program areas and determine trends or drifts within the organization; ultimately consolidating information, identifying critical metrics and recommending / executing solutions to challenges as appropriate. These roles will serve as a critical business partner providing insight and guidance to Mission Areas; as well as, Business Unit Leadership.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience in SAP, PRISM, Business Warehouse, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with financial evaluations of programs performance
  • Previous experience leading or managing teams
  • U.S. citizenship is required

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership
  • An understanding of material EACs cradle-to-grave (Gate 3 – Gate 11)
  • Ability to absorb performance indicators to create consolidated executive presentations
  • Knowledgeable of varying lifecycle program controls
  • Strong experience with Excel and other business analytical tools
  • Strong understanding of company command media, disclosures and GAAP
  • MBA preferred.
  • Ability and desire to lead, manage and grow teams of financial analysts
  • Motivate teams to understand and embrace importance with the right mentality
  • Deep understanding of operations/material systems and processes
  • A subject matter resource willing to execute analysis side-by-side with team members
  • Convey business acumen to stakeholders without financial backgrounds or expertise
