About The Position

As a Finance Manager – Lowes, you’ll be part of our Retail Tools & Outdoor team working as a remote/hybrid employee. You’ll serve as a key financial partner supporting the Lowes commercial business segment. This role is responsible for providing financial leadership, business analysis, and strategic decision support to maximize growth and profitability. You will collaborate closely with commercial sales, operations, and Lowes account teams to drive results and ensure alignment with company objectives. You will act as a finance business partner for the Lowes commercial account team and lead monthly financial close processes for Lowes commercial business, facilitating timely and accurate reporting of financial results and variances. You will develop, analyze, and present financial results, quarterly forecasts, and annual operating plans to support business planning and decision-making. You will provide actionable insights on sales performance, margin analysis, and profitability drivers. You will partner with sales and operations teams to evaluate promotional activities, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities. You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and recommend corrective actions as needed. You will support contract negotiations, rebate calculations, and compliance with financial policies. You will drive process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting, forecasting, and analytics. You will maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Lowes counterparts and perform ad-hoc analytics as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, preferably within a Corporate Finance, FP&A or Commercial finance environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, solid oral and written communicator, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work across all functions, generate solutions/recommendations to issues before topic is presented to management, and excellent computer skills.
  • Demonstrated financial systems acumen, with the ability to effectively use financial tools and systems to support accurate reporting, analysis, and informed decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, Power BI, knowledge of Hyperion HFM and SAP or their equivalent.
