About The Position

The Finance Manager will support the Droga5 Client leads and work closely with the Client Finance Management team and Business Affairs team. This role will be responsible for a mix of both client finance and operational agency finance tasks. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, work well with little supervision and demonstrate and ability to create efficient processes.

Requirements

3+ years’ work experience in finance management within an ad agency environment.
Understanding of financial statements and general ledgers
Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Superior computer skills; comfort with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Independent thinker able to help create efficient processes
Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Create price estimates with detailed staff plans
Support Client Leads with forecasting and analysis of actual results
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients for fees
Manage PO to Cash process for production and out-of-pocket client projects
Manage freelance and business development costs
Support Client Leads to manage and reconcile for retainer hours per client scopes and agreements
Ensure commercial terms and timelines are complied to per client agreements
Support month-end close process and for audits
Utilize analysis tools to mechanize day-to-day cost-analysis activities
Support collections for overdue client invoices
Develop Excel tools for data analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex IF functions, date functions, etc.)
Complete special projects as needed
