About The Position

The Finance & Insurance Manager's primary responsibility is to manage the financial transaction of the vehicle buying experience for each customer of the dealership. Work with lenders to obtain bank approvals for car purchases, produce the financial paperwork and consult the staff on DMV laws. This role involves working directly with the sales team and guests to assist in the financial buying process, building rapport with guests to establish a referral network, and consulting on and selling finance & insurance warranties. The manager will produce and submit accurate paperwork for title work and to secure funding from finance sources in a timely manner, achieve monthly objectives, and ensure deadlines for turning in guest paperwork to lenders and accounting are met. Responsibilities also include securing and handling guest money during vehicle transactions, adhering to all local and national regulations, and advising the sales team on purchasing laws. The role requires partnering with service advisors to assist guests with extended warranties, maintaining an impeccable reputation with lenders and vendors, and delivering finance and insurance menu presentations. Additionally, the Finance Manager will assist sales professionals with explaining lending options and warranties, build relationships with bank and manufacturer representatives, and utilize advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products and dealership management systems.

Requirements

  • A Colorado Sales License is Required for the position.
  • Ability to understand tag and title laws; DMV.
  • Prior automotive sales consultant experience required; 1-3yrs.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background & drug test).

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or in a related field preferred.
  • Track record of impeccable customer service ratings.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities
