About The Position

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the finance and accounts department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role involves managing financial close processes, full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards, experience with financial systems, and the ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities.

Requirements

• Hands on experience in Finance & Accounts, Audit, Statutory Compliances, Budgeting, variance analysis, profitability analysis and MIS, Govt Liasoning.
• Acts as a Client of the segment Delegation of Authorities (DOA) and Right Clients Right Terms (RCRT), assisting in financial matters wrt investment decisions: building business cases for OPEX and CAPEX commercial investments.
• Administrating tax programs.
• Should be a subject matter expert regarding GAAP and IFRS standards.
• 8 to 10 yrs of experience of accounts function.
• Should have worked on SAP/ Oracle.
• IFRS standard
• Understanding of the Local Market (USA) is preferable.

Nice To Haves

• CPA (USA), Chartered Accountant (CA) and bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Preferred experience in manufacturing industry

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
• Oversee full-cycle accounting (GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations)
• Prepare financial statements and MIS reports
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure tax compliance and strengthen internal controls
• Manage cash flow and working capital
• Drive process improvements and system optimization
• Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Manage budgets and prepare forecast reports.
• Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
• Analyze market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities.
• Identify risks, propose solutions and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Research and report on business performance influences.
• Prepare and present statutory accounts.
• Responsibility for accounts receivable and payable ledgers.
• Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries.
• Manage audit processes of current systems.
• Monitor financial details to ensure legal requirements are met.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting practices.
